Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Registered Nurse position for the Medical Surgical Department.
The primary location for this position is:
Tillsonburg District Memorial HospitalThe duration of this temporary contract would be approximately until October 2027, or sooner as determined by RRHSQualifications:- Registered Nurse with a current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum 1 year recent Medical/Surgical experience is preferred.
- Must possess current Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
- Well-developed patient assessment, intervention and evaluation skills.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care needs.
- Demonstrated ability to function productively in a very demanding environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently.
- Demonstrated ability to function productively as a team member in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the usage of various programs such as Cerner, Powerchart and Microsoft Office.
- Skilled with the interaction of patients and families to provide patient focused, goal oriented care.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality.
- Excellent attendance record and work ethics in previous positions.
- Proven experience working in a fast paced environment.
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills with a patient centered focus.
- Ability to fulfil full time commitment of 12 hour shifts.
Other pertinent conditions: - Salary per the ONA collective agreement ($41.15 per hour to $58.98 per hour)
