Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager who will provide go-to marketing and communications support for one of our clients' TDM programs as part of larger TDM team working collaboratively to promote sustainable transportation choices to a wide variety of audiences throughout the DMV.

The selected candidate will have experience in:
  • Marketing and campaign plan development and execution.
  • Client and relationship management.
  • Managing and supporting collateral and website content development.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Lead a team of marketing specialists to develop, execute, and evaluate various program-specific marketing campaigns.
  • Work with project manager to create and manage marketing budgets including tracking expenditures, to ensure campaigns and initiatives remain within budget. Provide strategic direction and oversight for the marketing workplan, including reviewing and guiding the development of a detailed calendar of events and campaigns.
  • Provide oversight of marketing timelines, priorities, and deliverables to ensure the successful and timely execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Oversee the development of communications, such as newsletters, blogs, and dedicated emails.
  • With the support of a web development team, manage website content and oversee updates, including digital accessibility compliance.
  • Maintain and enhance the brand for assigned projects and programs through brand management and full ownership of QA/QC for all marketing and communications deliverables.
  • Assist with the execution of client annual awards or recognition events, along with promotion and expansion of program initiatives.
  • Partner with transportation stakeholders across D.C. and the greater region and create co-marketing opportunities.
  • Provide public outreach assistance at program events.
  • Monitor, track, and report on marketing analytics to evaluate campaign performance.
  • Conduct market research and identify trends.

Required Skills and Experience

Education and experience requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar is preferred. A relevant degree can be substituted with sufficient experience.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in a progressively responsible role.

Skills requirements:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of a variety of marketing and communications channels, as well as outreach and public relations techniques.
  • Strong use of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience applying design guidelines and branding standards to all materials.
  • Ability to use self-hosted WordPress (Wordpress.org) to edit content on websites.
  • Familiarity using automated marketing tools and concepts (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Familiarity running paid digital ads (e.g., social media, Spotify)
  • Experience with content creation (e.g., video reels, blogs, graphics).
  • Experience with marketing analytics platforms and dashboards (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, OneCommute) is beneficial.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial.
