Job Duties:

This position leads and mentors a team of data analysts in all aspects of data analysis, SQL application development, data integrity, data conformity, and identifying data variation or semantic drift. Responsibilities include analyzing data to ensure tables and records are complete and accurate, identifying missing values, incorrect formats, or drift, and implementing solutions to improve data completeness, accuracy, and validity. The role establishes and enforces policies for organizing, naming, storing, and validating data, and helps build systems that make data accessible, reliable, and easy to use. It involves developing or enhancing SQL applications and tools that interact with data, selecting and configuring technologies for storing, moving, and analyzing data, and creating databases, dashboards, and other tools that support organizational needs. The position studies trends, identifies patterns, prepares clear summaries and reports, and provides actionable recommendations based on findings. It collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to understand information needs and ensure delivered data is accurate, relevant, and user¿friendly. The role builds visuals and models to communicate insights effectively and ensures all confidential or sensitive data is protected and handled according to agency rules and state requirements. Additional duties include supervising, training, and supporting data team members, helping them prioritize work, and developing their skills. Strong problem'solving responsibilities are central to the role, requiring ongoing troubleshooting, error resolution, and ensuring all data makes sense and meets quality expectations.

You possess a bachelor's degree along with experience in data engineering, data analysis, data compilation research and evaluation, data compilation, reporting, data architecture, technical or research writing, business intelligence, or visualization tools.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You possess experience in the supervision of employees, cloud data governance frameworks, Databricks or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or Informatica Intelligent Data Management (IDMC), Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure cloud, and Governmental agency.
