  • Manages the preparation and distribution of K-1's.
  • Leads tax projects and research utilizing both internal and external resources.
  • Supports the annual audit of the Company's financial statements in the area of tax.

Overview

The Tax Senior Associate will be responsible for both tax compliance and tax accounting to include, reviewing and managing the preparation of partnership and corporate tax returns and schedules and all reports to taxing and other authorities, researching tax issues, preparing annual provision workpapers, as necessary, as well as maintaining tax calendars and due date listings. The role will collaborate with Accounting, Operations and Development teams on all tax matters related to current and planned business activities and acquisitions. The role is remote but will require travel to semi-annual Tax Department Meetings.

  • Learns the different business models in order to effectively manage the tax side.
