JOB DESCRIPTION

Join the Tax Oriented Investments (“TOI”) business within the Corporate and Investment Banking division. We are looking for an analyst level professional to join our finance team. TOI’s finance team is responsible for product control, legal entity control, and financial control. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a dynamic and complex financial environment.

As a Tax Oriented Investments Control Associate within the Corporate and Investment Banking division, you will be accountable for oversight of control issue identification, escalation, evaluation and remediation in order for consistency across Finance reporting. You will build relationships with the business, middle office, and technology colleagues, maintain LOB portfolio via finance subledger, and oversee LOB legal entity structure reporting. You will also be responsible for reconciliation and analysis of portfolio data to support controller function, deliver month end and quarterly reporting deliverables, and assist with implementation of process improvements across LOB applications. Your role will also involve developing subject matter expertise such as portfolio GAAP and LOB controls and understanding how those concepts apply to the LOB’s technology platform.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Accounting degree
  • 2+ years of work experience in an accounting position
  • Experience month-end close process
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Must have ability and desire to problem solve
  • Aptitude for numbers and financial analysis
