The Opportunity

As a Tax Operations Transformation Director, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with developing tax reporting strategies and maintaining compliance with tax regulations. You will analyze financial data, interpret tax laws, and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements, aiming to optimize tax positions and minimize risks for businesses. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. Translating the vision, you set the tone and inspire others to follow, driving business growth and shaping the direction of client engagements.

Responsibilities

- Leading the development and implementation of tax reporting strategies to optimize client tax positions
- Analyzing financial data and interpreting tax laws to provide strategic guidance on tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Overseeing multiple client engagements, confirming alignment with PwC's values and maintaining client satisfaction
- Driving business growth by identifying market opportunities and converting them into successful client engagements
- Mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders within the tax services team
- Promoting technological advancements to enhance tax reporting and compliance processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative tax solutions and strategies
- Confirming adherence to professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Building and maintaining executive-level client relationships to support long-term business development

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
