Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading thier tax function, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in tax management, preferably in a corporate setting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local
- Experience with tax planning, compliance, and controversy
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of experience in tax management
- Experience with international tax issues
- Familiarity with tax technology, such as tax planning and compliance software
- Certification in addition to CPA (e.g., Master's in Taxation, Enrolled Agent)
