Tax ManagerHybrid | Multiple Southern California LocationsYou'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of industries while serving as a trusted advisor to clients on complex tax matters and planning strategies.
What You'll Do- Review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns.
- Manage multiple tax engagements from planning through completion.
- Provide tax planning, consulting, and technical guidance to clients.
- Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Lead client meetings and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Supervise, coach, and develop tax professionals across multiple experience levels.
- Manage IRS and state tax examinations as needed.
- Monitor engagement budgets, billing, and project timelines.
- Participate in business development and practice growth initiatives.
What We're Looking For- 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring staff.
- Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Taxation preferred).
- Strong technical tax knowledge, communication skills, and client service mindset.
$14,500 - $18,500 a year
