Tax Manager

Hybrid | Multiple Southern California Locations

You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of industries while serving as a trusted advisor to clients on complex tax matters and planning strategies.
What You'll Do
  • Review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns.
  • Manage multiple tax engagements from planning through completion.
  • Provide tax planning, consulting, and technical guidance to clients.
  • Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead client meetings and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop tax professionals across multiple experience levels.
  • Manage IRS and state tax examinations as needed.
  • Monitor engagement budgets, billing, and project timelines.
  • Participate in business development and practice growth initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
  • Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring staff.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Taxation preferred).
  • Strong technical tax knowledge, communication skills, and client service mindset.


$14,500 - $18,500 a year
