What you will do:
  • Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various tax compliance and consulting services to industry specific clients:
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, HNW and Ultra-HNW individuals and corporations ranging from small to middle market
  • Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries
  • Team with leaders on special projects
  • Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize
  • Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in the state and local, international, research and development along with credits and incentives areas
  • Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs
  • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients
  • Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance


Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:
  • 4-year degree required
  • Eligibility to obtain CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent required
  • One (1) year of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services required
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
  • Microsoft Suite skills
  • There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position

Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.   • In Santa Clara (CA) & San Jose (CA): the pay rate range is $82,990 to $108,930
  • In San Francisco, CA: the pay rate range is $82,990 to $108,900
  • In Walnut Creek, CA: the pay rate range is $79,800 to $104,740
  • In Rancho Cordova/Sacramento (CA): the pay rate range is $73,420 to $91,770.
