Full Job Description
Burrow Global has an immediate need for a Turnaround Planner for a chemical plant in Memphis, TN.

This position will start in November 2026 and last through Nov 2027.

The TAR planner is a member of the TAR Management Team responsible for all assigned TAR planning using MS Excel and Primavera P6 .

40 hours per week on 9/80 or 5/8's schedule prior to the turnaround then 7/12's during the turnaround.

The primary function of this role is to ensure that turnaround planning is prepared and executed in a manner that meets the site's turnaround objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

(Pre-Overhaul)

  • Prepare job plans for all work in assigned area using, materials request, contractor instructions
  • Attach all relevant documentation to the plan, including
    • Drawings
    • Photos
    • Test procedures
    • Cleaning procedures

  • Validate job plans as part of the validation team
  • Prepare workbooks for all supervisors in assigned area with copies of all paperwork needed
  • Work with all foremen to assist work familiarization
  • Work with schedulers and estimators and area planners to develop framework for the turnaround project and schedule.


(During Execution)

  • Attend daily meetings to understand new work for their area
  • Ensure that work is planned and passed to scheduler for adding to the schedule
  • Monitor material availability to allow management of work
  • Work with foremen to identify changes needed on regular job plans and make the changes for future re-use
  • Ensure seamless handoff of work from trades to QA/QC and then to Operations
  • Review work is being performed in plant in accordance with job plans in conjunction with foreman

  • Ensure all job packs are properly closed out


Educational Requirements

Candidates should hold an associate or bachelor's degree and have at least 7 years of experience as a TAR planner working on Petrochemical or Oil and Gas EPC projects.
