Job Summary

The Talent Partner creates strong business partnerships with internal clients and leads the full life cycle recruitment process for Programs or entry-level to executive-level openings. The Talent Partner develops multiple sourcing channels, including candidate pipelines, to attract the best active and passive candidates, while leveraging technology to ensure an effective and efficient process. Responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with both hiring managers and candidates (both internal and external), the Talent Partner is instrumental in creating strategy around and executing recruiting strategies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Source, screen, and interview applicants with excellent candidate assessment skills. Instrumental in sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting, and hiring the best available candidate resources using proven recruiting methods and processes for all exempt and non-exempt roles. - (40%)
  • Foster collaborative relationships with hiring managers to effectively assess and fulfill job openings, offering guidance on both internal and external talent acquisition. Streamline the hiring process by consulting on candidate selection to ensure an optimal match for various positions. - (30%)
  • Consistently meet or exceed service level agreements providing the highest possible level of service to the business. Understand the company’s business and how individual areas contribute to the overall success of the company. - (10%)
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of market conditions and competition. Review and analyze talent market data and trends, understand implications to search strategy, and recommend solutions for finding the right talent. - (10%)
  • Coordinate various recruitment projects by taking initiative to identify and lead projects that support the recruiting team in being a more strategic partner. Plan and coordinate recruiting events and represent the company at job fairs, tradeshows, networking events, and community events. - (10%)


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years experience in full cycle recruitment

Work Environment

  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):

$61,900.00 - $112,100.00

Full Salary Range for position:

California: $71,200.00 - $140,200.00Colorado: $61,900.00 - $117,800.00New York: $68,100.00 - $140,200.00Washington: $65,000.00 - $129,000.00Maryland: $65,000.00 - $123,400.00Washington DC: $71,200.00 - $129,000.00Illinois: $61,900.00 - $123,400.00New Jersey: $71,200.00 - $129,000.00Vermont: $61,900.00 - $112,100.00Ohio: $61,900.00 - $112,100.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.


You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future from any employer or organization. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26.  New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period).  Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period.   Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
