What You'll Do: HR Operations & Compliance- Employee Transaction Management: Oversee end-to-end operational processes, including onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and data management within our HRIS system (UltiPro/UKG).
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain pristine data hygiene across all people systems and build regular reports/dashboards to create transparency and clarity on key operations and mobility practices.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure all HR processes adhere to local, state, and federal labor laws, keeping internal SOPs up to date.
- Workflow Automation: Identify bottlenecks in current HR and immigration pipelines and implement AI-powered solutions.
Immigration & Mobility Management- Visa Processing: Support the end-to-end immigration process for new hires and transferring employees (including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, and Green Card processes).
- Vendor Liaison: Partner closely with external immigration counsel to ensure timely filings, gather required documentation, and track case statuses.
Employee Support: Serve as a compassionate and knowledgeable resource for visa-holding employees, providing clear guidance on timelines, travel restrictions, and renewals.
What You'll Bring:A unique blend of operational grit and technical curiosity. You don't just follow a checklist; you look for ways to automate the checklist entirely so you can focus on impactful strategy value adds and employee care.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or Talent Operations, ideally within a fast-paced or scaling tech environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Immigration Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of US (and/or international) immigration pathways, visa types, and standard compliance frameworks (I-9 audits, LCA maintenance).
- AI Curiosity & Tech Savviness: You don't just use tech; you love exploring it. You have a proven track record of using generative AI tools (like Gemini, Glean, Notebook LM, Apps Scripts, or specialized HR AI agents) and automation tools to optimize your daily workflows.
- HR Tech Stack: Preferred working knowledge of HR systems: Greenhouse, Jobvite, UltiPro/UKG, Jira, Smartsheet. Proficient in GSuite.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong data literacy with the ability to turn spreadsheet chaos into structured, actionable insights.
- Communication: Exceptional empathy and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal jargon or technical AI processes to employees and leaders in simple terms.
