  • Partner with the Head of Human Resources and senior leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives; communicate plans to the HR team.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures; ensure consistent application across offices and programs.
  • Design and implement initiatives that support strategic goals (e.g., affirmative action, career pathing, performance management, engagement, wellness).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; administer FMLA/PTO and related leave programs.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to managers on compensation, benefits, safety/security, ER issues, and change management.
  • Lead weekly department meetings; represent HR in cross-functional meetings and external seminars as needed.
  • Build partnerships with firm leaders; assess needs, resolve issues, and foster a high-trust, inclusive culture.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Director to ensure a seamless transition for new colleagues from onboarding into HR support and development programs; manage exit processes.
  • Monitor HR metrics and outcomes; evaluate programs against goals and recommend policy/process improvements for efficiency and impact.
  • Support risk management, investigations, and sensitive employee matters with discretion and consistent documentation.
