Position Summary

We are building our Talent Development team and are looking for a Talent Development Specialist to help build how Two Sigma grows its people. In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to HRBPs across the firm, understanding their teams' learning needs, sharing resources and expertise, and partnering with them to design and implement effective programming. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to firm-wide talent development initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the strategic and practical sides of talent development, from assessing needs to designing solutions to getting programs off the ground, and who is energized by being part of a growing, collaborative team. If you are passionate about joining a fast-paced, diverse team where creative versatility drives brand excellence, we would love to meet you!

You will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HRBPs across the business on clients' development needs. Act as a trusted advisor and resource. This covers leadership, manager, and broader soft skill programs.
  • Translate business requests into clear, actionable developmental programming, taking learning programs and pilots from end to end through design and implementation, from initial needs assessment and build through initial execution and refinement
  • Support the rollout of enterprise-wide professional development projects, partnering with the broader team to bring programming to life across the organization
  • Identify pilots and programs developed within specific business areas that have potential for broader application, and adapt or scale them accordingly
  • Use data and thematic analysis to advise program design, track effectiveness, and drive ongoing iteration and refinement of programming
  • Bring an external perspective on learning design and leadership development trends to continuously strengthen Two Sigma's approach
  • Flex across organization-wide initiatives as needed given the team's evolving priorities

You should possess the following qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in learning & development, HR business partnership, or consulting, with proven success in crafting and implementing learning programs
  • Experience in manager development, leadership development, and soft skill program design, including assessing needs and building programming from the ground up
  • Comfortable being a hands-on individual contributor, as this role designs and implements programming directly rather than managing a team
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills, with a track record of being sought out as a reliable, collaborative partner
  • Data literacy, with the ability to prioritize data and identify themes to guide program build and measure impact
  • Facilitation experience would be advantageous, though not required
  • Exposure to vendor management is advantageous
  • Experience leveraging AI to support the design or delivery of learning programs is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

You will enjoy the following benefits:
  • Core Benefits: Fully paid medical and dental insurance premiums for employees and dependents, competitive 401k match, employer-paid life & disability insurance
  • Perks: Onsite gyms with laundry service, wellness activities, casual dress, snacks, game rooms
  • Learning: Tuition reimbursement, conference and training sponsorship
  • Time Off: Generous vacation and unlimited sick days, competitive paid caregiver leaves
