JOB SUMMARY:The position of Talent Acquisition Specialist is accountable to the Human Resources Manager to develop and execute a talent strategy within North America. This includes a wide range of talent acquisition activities such as sourcing key talent, creating candidate pipelines, networking to build strong relationships within the pharmaceutical industry, being a brand ambassador and playing a key role in our social media presence.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop and execute talent and branding strategies, including market intelligence, designed to support the company's short and long-term strategic goals.
- Proactively partner with management, HR Business Partners, and Finance to understand workforce planning outcomes, budgets and forecasts.
- Responsible for the full cycle recruitment process for technical professional roles across North America.
- Lead best practice improvements to our recruitment processes in order to attract and retain top talent.
- Create and maintain a social media presence as it relates to talent acquisition.
- Create and execute sourcing methodologies to effectively develop a candidate pipeline.
- Proactively participate in community activities to promote the organization's brand through job fairs, networking opportunities, associations, etc.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate and customer (internal stakeholder) experience by providing transparency and progress updates on a regular cadence.
- Ensure all recruitment metrics are updated monthly. Provide input on new metrics.
- Partner with system specialists to ensure the optimal set-up and use of the HRIS recruitment module.
- Act as a brand ambassador with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
- Complies with GMP guidelines.
- Observe and support all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Responsible for completing all other duties as assigned and in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Work harmoniously with all fellow employees, maintaining confidentiality as appropriate in the context of the business environment.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Education- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related discipline.
- CHRL designation or actively pursuing.
Experience- Minimum of 5 year's experience providing full cycle recruitment support to highly skilled roles and various levels across North America.
- Pharmaceutical network/experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience and success recruiting, full time, co-op and contract roles.
- Ability to be creative with talent acquisition and sourcing candidates.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- High levels of integrity, diplomacy, and tact, with an ability to always maintain confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task and work within established deadlines.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with the ability build relationships inside and outside of the organization.
- Proven ability to work fast-paced environment and work autonomously.
- Strong computer skills (MS office, ATS/HRIS systems and social media platforms).

Compensation
Starting at approximately $90,000.00 CAD with opportunity for increase based on qualifications and experience. Total rewards include comprehensive benefits, bonus eligibility, and professional development support.
