*Final salary offer will be based on relevant skills and experience to the position.Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads full life-cycle recruiting and drives talent acquisition strategy across MNAA by serving as a subject matter expert in the following areas: recruiting, screening, interviewing and recommending placement of staff by using creative and diverse sourcing methods. This role ensures compliance to MNAA policies, procedures, federal/state law regarding employment practices and requires considerable focus on achieving MNAA Strategic and HR Organizational goals and objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:- Leads workforce planning discussions and advises leadership accordingly. Coaches hiring managers to determine staffing needs and advises on recruiting strategies to build a pool of diverse and qualified candidates.
- Oversees complex or executive level searches and provides guidance to recruiters. Leads and assists in screening resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checks, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt positions, and initiates the onboarding process.
- Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates. Mentors junior recruiters and facilitates or ensures necessary skills training.
- Designs and leads multi-channel sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract both diverse and qualified candidates.
- Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
- Builds strategic partnerships with workforce development, veteran service organizations and industry groups. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation).
- Manages pre-hire onboarding process by ensuring background checks, certifications, licenses, employment verifications and references are all completed within company standards.
- Coordinates with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and federal and state employment compliance.
- Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
- Owns Talent Acquisition analytics and reporting, including key performance metrics such as fill rate percentages, high density vacancy trends, and time to fill, ensuring data driven insights guide recruiting strategy and decision making.
- Provides day-to-day guidance to Talent Acquisition specialists and HR talent acquisition staff augmentation personnel.
- Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
- Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.

- Follows all safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
