Full Job Description
We are partnering with a leading organization in the utilities and energy sector to hire an experienced Recruiter to support high-impact hiring needs across engineering, project management, and corporate functions.
This is a fully on-site role in Fort Wayne, IN (5 days/week), offering direct exposure to a stable, essential industry that powers communities and invests heavily in infrastructure, innovation, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate and exempt-level roles (engineering, project management, operations, etc.)
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates using a mix of traditional and creative recruiting methods
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through networking, events, and online sourcing
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and guide candidates through the hiring process
  • Extend and negotiate offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience from start to finish
  • Maintain accurate candidate activity and reporting within the ATS
  • Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations and company policies
  • Support onboarding and new hire processes
  • Provide market insight and recommend process improvements to enhance recruiting effectiveness


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (HR, Business, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of corporate recruiting experience
  • Proven success in full-cycle recruiting for professional and leadership-level roles
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and online sourcing tools
  • Strong ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities independently
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with sourcing platforms and job boards


Preferred Experience
  • Background in utilities, energy, engineering, or infrastructure recruiting
  • Experience supporting technical roles (non-IT) such as engineering or project-based hiring
  • Exposure to compliance-heavy or regulated environments


Work Environment + Notes
  • 100% on-site in Fort Wayne, IN
  • Collaborative, team-oriented setting with direct interaction with hiring leaders and HR partners
  • This role does not focus on IT recruiting
  • Strong emphasis on technical, operational, and corporate hiring
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.30 - $44.30/hr.
