Who will you be working with?As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, you will support the recruitment and selection of hourly talent across assigned manufacturing, operations, and support locations. The TA Partner will manage full-cycle recruiting activities including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer facilitation, and onboarding support. This role will partner closely with site leaders to build candidate pipelines, support workforce planning initiatives, and ensure timely fulfillment of hourly hiring needs.
The TA Partner will be based in Greenville, SC and will support recruitment for all applicable sites within the region. It may include up to 15% occasional travel at a Wabtec office/site or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
What do we want to know about you? - Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field from an accredited university/college preferred or 4 years of equivalent or directly related work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR function or similar field including full-cycle recruitment of professional/salaried, or hourly roles preferably in a corporate or agency environment
- Prior ATS experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of employment processes and legislative requirements is preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience in direct search and other sourcing techniques
- Ability to create comprehensive recruiting strategies and appropriately influence hiring managers in making sound hiring decisions.
- A high level of personal drive and determination with the ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively within a team environment.
What will your typical day look like? - Lead all external and internal hourly recruitment for the locations which includes delivering optimal stakeholder management, talent sourcing and recruiting, interviewing solutions, candidate experience, job offers, and feedback mechanisms.
- Develop staffing strategies based on labor market and competitive analysis, benchmarking and survey data.
- Collaborate across segment to advance TA programs that benefit the region as a whole - e.g., Employer Branding initiatives, Sourcing & Selection activities, etc.
- Continuously build an external talent pipeline; proactively source for high-quality candidates and maintain relationships with talent for future opportunities, create and nurture relationships with external agencies/sources of talent, develop creative and alternative external sources of talent and keep on leading edge of external recruitment best practices.
- Partner with TA Operations on TA metrics and analytics to increase the effectiveness of recruitment and selection; provide TA reporting regarding status of current open roles to all stakeholders.
- Attend job fairs/university and other events as related to finding talent.
- Collaborate with veteran and/or ERG leads
