Job Summary:

Caterpillar’s Digital, Technology & Distribution (DT&D) segment advances the digital platforms, technology solutions, distribution capabilities, and dealer services that help Caterpillar serve customers worldwide. This Talent Acquisition Partner will primarily support Cat Digital and Cat Technology hiring by partnering with business and technical leaders to attract technical talent in areas such as software engineering, robotics, connectivity, and more.


What You Will Do:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for software engineering roles, from requirement intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand business needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Advise hiring teams on talent supply, market trends, compensation, and recruiting practices.
  • Source active and passive talent through traditional and non-traditional recruitment channels.
  • Create personalized outreach highlighting the role, technical challenges, culture, and value proposition.
  • Screen candidates for technical experience, interests, qualifications, compensation, and role fit.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant candidate pipelines and activity in the applicant tracking system.
  • Support offer development, communication, negotiations, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Partner with HR and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth start for new hires.

What You Will Have:

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
  • Recruitment Channel Management: Knowledge of the benefit, selection, implementation, and operation of various recruitment channels (e.g., computer databases, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms and employee referrals); ability to use appropriate channels to achieve objectives of organizational talent strategy.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Knowledge of techniques, methods and channels of candidate sourcing; ability to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term job candidates
  • Workforce Analytics: Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.

  • Ability to stay current on emerging technology trends, software engineering practices, and evolving technical talent markets.
  • Proven ability to source and engage passive talent in competitive markets.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
