Full Job Description
Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team in Northwest Houston!

This is an office-based position and requires regular, in-person attendance at our office. After successfully completing 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for one work-from-home day per week.

SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading the organization's talent acquisition function and managing recruitment activities from workforce planning through offer acceptance. This position leads a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, directly manages executive and senior leadership recruitment, and partners with organizational leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies. The role also oversees support for the organization's overseas workforce (remote teams support) and collaborates with independent contractors and external partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Leads and manages full-cycle recruitment activities across all levels of the organization, from workforce planning and sourcing through selection, offer acceptance, and handoff to the appropriate team.
  • Partners with hiring managers and organizational leaders to assess staffing needs, define position requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists by establishing performance expectations, monitoring workloads, and providing ongoing guidance and feedback.
  • Directly leads full-cycle recruitment for executive, senior leadership, and other designated high-impact or confidential positions.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates strategic recruitment plans using key performance indicators and workforce trends to identify challenges and recommend improvements.
  • Evaluates and optimizes sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, campus outreach, community partnerships, career fairs, and recruitment events.
  • Coordinates and participates in recruitment events and outreach activities to strengthen the organization's employer brand and attract qualified candidates.
  • Advises and trains hiring managers on interviewing techniques, candidate evaluation, selection practices, and recruitment procedures.
  • Ensures timely, accurate, and professional communication with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Monitors the candidate and hiring manager experience and implements service and process improvements based on feedback and performance results.
  • Ensures recruitment activities, processes, and documentation comply with organizational policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Manages relationships with recruitment vendors, staffing agencies, executive search firms, and other service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborates with 1099 independent contractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate contracts, documentation, service requirements, deliverables, and related administrative processes while maintaining appropriate contractor relationships.
  • Oversees support operations for the organization's overseas workforce (remote teams support) through supervision of the assigned team members, including employee administration, vendor and service-provider coordination, contracts, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Establishes and maintains standardized recruitment processes, procedures, and documentation to promote consistency, accuracy, compliance, and service quality.
  • Oversees applicant tracking system workflows, user practices, data integrity, reporting, and recruitment-related process improvements.
  • Prepares and presents recruitment activity, key performance indicators, trends, challenges, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Thorough knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection practices, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Knowledge of executive and senior leadership recruitment strategies and practices.
  • Knowledge of appropriate business relationships and administrative practices involving 1099 independent contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop talent acquisition professionals.
  • Strong consultation, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, executives, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches, projects, and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to influence decisions and collaborate effectively across departments and leadership levels.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment data, identify trends, measure results, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of process improvement and quality control principles.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive or high-level recruitment activities.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, recruitment technologies, and reporting and analytics tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on Talent Acquisition
  • Two (2) years of experience leading, supervising, or providing functional oversight
