Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads full-cycle recruiting strategy and execution for MP Materials, partnering with HR leadership and hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent across the organization. This role is responsible for building scalable recruiting processes, strengthening candidate experience, developing talent pipelines, and using recruiting data to improve hiring outcomes in support of MP's growth and operational priorities.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities, workforce plans, and critical hiring needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer recommendations, and onboarding handoff.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to define role requirements, selection criteria, interview plans, and hiring timelines.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for high-priority, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles across the organization.
  • Lead, coach, and support recruiting team members and coordinators to ensure consistent execution, service quality, and professional development.
  • Oversee job postings, sourcing channels, employer branding efforts, recruiting events, agency relationships, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Use ATS data and recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion, and hiring manager satisfaction, to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies and applicable employment laws, including EEO, affirmative action, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Deliver a professional, timely, and inclusive candidate experience that reflects MP Materials' mission, values, and commitment to operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including full-cycle recruiting responsibility.
  • Prior experience leading recruiting projects, mentoring recruiters or coordinators, or managing recruiting workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate assessment methods, interview best practices, and employment compliance requirements.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and reporting tools to manage pipelines and communicate recruiting performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders, influence hiring decisions, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Desired Qualities:
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, mining, engineering, operations, or other industrial environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-site recruiting needs and building talent pipelines for specialized technical or operational roles.
  • Familiarity with affirmative action planning, OFCCP compliance, and structured interview processes.
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or recruiting-related certifications.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate recruiting data into practical recommendations for leaders.
