Full Job Description
We’re creating a more resourceful world and need a results-driven teammate to support our early career talent acquisition (TA). You will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and recruiting top early career talent from traditional and non-traditional educational paths to join Itron. This role will support and communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders such as hiring managers, business leaders, students, early and pivoting career professionals, faculty, campus staff, and a diverse array of community organizations that engage skilled and underrepresented voices in engineering, utilities and technology. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Supports full-cycle end-to-end talent acquisition recruitment practices including but not limited to sourcing, screening, presenting offers and executing candidate pre-hire events with a focus on inclusion to quickly fill positions in accordance with established TA key performance indicators • Collaborates closely with the TA team, HR support, and business leaders to deeply understand organization structure, position responsibilities, and key business drivers to develop sourcing strategies and build rapport as a talent acquisition advisor • Collaborates with hiring managers to enhance job descriptions that drive candidate interest and pipeline • Owns compensation discussions with hiring leaders, candidates, and all offer negotiations, with support as needed from Global Compensation and TA leadership • Utilizes software and resources to execute work tasks with proper compliance and documentation, including data entry and reports • Ensures an inclusive candidate experience by influencing recruitment strategies while filling positions • Guides managers on proper recruitment process; educate and advise when necessary to ensure utilization of recruitment “best practices” at all times • Communicates and provides regular and timely feedback to candidates during the recruitment process to create positive candidate experiences • Meets regularly with hiring managers to discuss recruitment updates and strategy • Collaborates and executes on TA team projects, at regional and global level, to drive innovation and continuous improvement for Itron’s Talent Acquisition team • Support Itron employment brand through written content, career website, social media content creation and collaboration with corporate marketing stakeholders Required Skills & Experience • Related bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • Professional workplace communication skills and ability to influence without authority, including proficient use of common workplace software and applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) • Ability to operate in an organized manner, with focus on attention to detail on administrative and operational tasks. • Able to work on-site at least one day a week at an existing Itron Center of Excellence, preference for Itron headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA . • Able to travel for related recruitment events, meetings and trainings. • Understanding and experience utilizing modern communication tools to reach early career stakeholders and contract workforce for hard to fill skill sets. Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience with modern sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems (preference for Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter). • Experience using common early career job and event systems; Handshake, Symplicity, WayUp, Yello, or related tools. • Experience owning recruitment related projects and/or programs. • Experience working with or for a recruitment/staffing agency. • Understanding of ethical AI use in recruitment. Travel: 5-10%   Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary is $60,000- $115,000.00. #LI-MD1
