Full Job Description
To achieve our vision, we are seeking Taekwondo Instructors with a Bachelor's degree, 1-2+ years of coaching or teaching experience, and a commitment to building students' confidence, discipline, and character through Taekwondo. Responsibilities: • Execute a bold vision of excellence in Taekwondo, designing structured, rigorous, and developmentally appropriate instruction that builds students' self-confidence, discipline, focus, and respect. • Build a positive, inclusive learning environment where students develop a genuine love for Taekwondo and families feel connected to a strong, values-driven community. • Use data, student progress, and skill benchmarks to monitor growth, refine instruction, and support each student's physical, social-emotional, and character development. • Develop authentic, trusting relationships with students and families to support students' growth both on and off the mat. • Collaborate closely with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional learning, embracing feedback and coaching to continuously strengthen your practice. • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and provide instructional support as needed, ensuring martial arts are meaningfully integrated into the broader student experience. • Lead a high-quality after-school Taekwondo program that deepens students' passion, builds technical skill, and prepares students for demonstrations, tournaments, and competition. The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $105,500. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary closer to the beginning of the range, depending on relevant experience and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales. Zeta offers a relocation reimbursement of up to $2,500 for eligible staff relocating to join our school community.
