This role provides experienced oversight of complex and high-visibility Operational Planning Products (OPPs), supports Operator development, and strengthens integration between TacSRT leadership, the virtual operations watch floor, and mission partners.

The Advanced Operator brings seasoned operational judgment to ensure commercial capabilities are effectively aligned with joint military warfighter decision-making needs. This position plays a key role in scaling TacSRT operations during periods of high demand or reduced military manpower availability, while maintaining consistency, quality, and responsiveness across the mission set.

This role offers an opportunity to shape TacSRT execution standards, mentor operators, and directly influence how commercial capabilities are operationalized across the joint force.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational oversight and mentorship to junior TacSRT Operators.
  • Support validation and refinement of incoming TacSRT requests to ensure feasibility and operational impact.
  • Advise JCO TacSRT leadership on task prioritization, capacity management, and surge planning.
  • Interface directly with Combatant Command (CCMD) and Space Component stakeholders as required.
  • Support standardization of workflows, quality control criteria, and best practices across TacSRT operations.
  • Contribute to training development, onboarding, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support real-world operations and exercises concurrently, as mission demands require.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-10+ years of experience within joint strategic or operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations, collection management, Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) analysis, or All-Source Intelligence production.
  • Formal imagery analysis or GEOINT training, such as National Geospatial-Intelligence (NGA) tradecraft courses or equivalent Service-level intelligence training.
  • Experience applying structured analytic standards, including familiarity with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203 and 206.
  • Strong understanding of commercial imagery capabilities, operational timelines, decision support requirements, and mission tradeoffs.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including the ability to brief senior military and civilian stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of independent execution in high-tempo environments.
  • Must be a US Citizen to meet security requirements.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience and familiarity with the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
  • Industry standard GEOINT Certification or imagery analyst training/accreditation from NGA.
  • Experience serving in operations centers in a Joint capacity.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM), the U.S. Space Force, and their component relationships.
  • Completion of space training courses such as Space 200, Space 300, Orbital Mechanics, or related coursework through the 319th Combat Training Squadron or National Security Space Institute (NSSI).
  • All-Source Intelligence certification from Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) or Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
  • Experience working in joint and interagency environments across multiple levels of government.
  • Experience supporting simultaneous real-world operations and large-scale exercises.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related field highly desired.
