What You Can Expect

In this role you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling AI-enabled solutions that enhance engineering effectiveness, product development efficiency, quality outcomes, and organizational performance. This role bridges systems engineering, digital transformation, and business operations to drive adoption of emerging technologies across multidisciplinary teams.

As a Sr Systems Designer you will serve as a change leader who partners with engineering, quality, regulatory, clinical, and business stakeholders to transform existing ways of working through automation, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence. The role combines strong systems thinking, organizational influence, and technical leadership to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, decision quality, and operational effectiveness.

The successful candidate demonstrates a proven history of leading change across organizations, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering AI optimization initiatives that achieve sustainable business impact.

How You'll Create Impact
• Lead AI, automation, and process optimization initiatives from concept through deployment.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve engineering effectiveness, quality, and operational efficiency using AI technologies.
• Build alignment across engineering, quality, regulatory, and business functions to enable successful adoption of new solutions.
• Build and lead communities of practice to accelerate adoption of AI-enabled ways of working across engineering organizations.
• Drive organizational change through stakeholder engagement, training, communication, and change management activities.
• Establish metrics to measure adoption, business impact, and return on investment.
• Develop best practices, governance models, and scalable approaches for responsible AI utilization.
• Mentor teams on AI-enabled ways of working and continuous improvement practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on AI strategy, transformation opportunities, and technology adoption
• Partner with project teams to identify, prioritize, and execute high-value AI opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.

Your Background
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives
• Experience delivering AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation projects with measurable outcomes.
• Experience evaluating and implementing emerging digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, analytics, automation, or related optimization solutions.
• Experience operating in regulated or complex technical environments preferred.
• Experience or exposure to medical device development, robotics, software-controlled systems, or regulated industries is an asset.

Travel Expectations

Hybrid role with a minimum expectation of three days per week in office.
