About the Job

Parry Labs is seeking a Systems Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance, manufacturing processes, and compliance activities that ensure delivery of high-reliability products for defense and aerospace applications. This role is responsible for implementing and managing quality systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to maintain world-class manufacturing performance.

The Quality Manager will lead day-to-day quality operations, support production scale-up efforts, and help strengthen the organization's manufacturing readiness and mission assurance capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor quality engineering and inspection teams to ensure consistent execution of quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, inspection, and nonconformance management.
  • Manage quality evaluation systems, inspection protocols, and data-driven metrics to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable industry standards.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
  • Support development, qualification, and process improvement to ensure high quality delivery.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCCA/CAPA) for nonconformances and customer returns.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits, customer reviews, and government compliance activities.
  • Lead supplier evaluations, audits, and ongoing supplier quality performance monitoring.
  • Support Manufacturing Readiness and ensure quality activities are aligned with program milestones and production demands.
  • Develop and maintain quality records, metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools for internal and customer-facing reviews.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams to maintain alignment on production goals, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Accountable for Quality review and approval at internal Configuration Control Board.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, quality engineering, or mission assurance; experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability manufacturing required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams.
  • Strong background in quality systems, process control, and compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC, DO 178C, and MIL-STD requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Engineering design and test documentation for hardware and software releases.
    Proven experience managing inspections, audits, nonconformance processes, and corrective action programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to drive decision-making and improve manufacturing outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean certification.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRLs), government contract compliance, and high-mix/low-volume production environments.
  • Familiarity with digital manufacturing systems, ERP/MRP platforms, and manufacturing/quality analytics tools.
  • Active DoD security clearance.
