Nightwing is seeking a cleared and experienced Testing and Integrations Specialist in the Fairfax area. The right candidate will serve as a member of a telecommunications systems integration team performing a wide variety of complex activities associated with building/assembling, testing and integrating legacy and next generation telecommunications systems. Required Skills: • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment which includes Cisco and Juniper Routers, Firewalls, and Switches • Use of various test equipment to include JDSU FST-2802, Cable Eye tester, multi-meter, Firebird 6000A, Digital Lightwave • Ability to upgrade and downgrade telecommunications devices by using various Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP), File Transfer Protocols (FTP), and Terminal Emulator programs • Ability to implement test plans to both bench test and system test equipment and system components • Interpret Interconnect (IC) Drawings and wiring schematics of the equipment and cables • Fabricate and run CAT6 cables and other various data cables • Keep abreast of basic safety practices Desired Skills: • JNCIA, CCNA, COMPTIA Security +, or other industry recognized certifications • Experience with Customer Systems • Experience working in an overseas field environment Additional Requirements: • Additional Technical and Specialty Training/Certifications Etc. • Years of Experience Required: 11+ • Education Level/Major: High School Education • Equivalent Experience may be Substituted for Educational Requirement (Yes/No): No • Weapons Certification Required (Yes/No): Not required for hire, but must be willing and capable of becoming certified. • Professional License or Certification Required (Yes/No) / Type: No • OCONUS TDY Required (Yes/No) / %: Yes, up to 10% OCONUS travel, including hazard areas as required.** • CONUS TDY Required (Yes/No) / %: Yes, up to 10% CONUS travel, as required.** • Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph ** Travel requirements/amount and duration are subject to the needs of the Customer and may be more or less than what is listed. ations Etc. • Years of Experience Required: 11+ • Education Level/Major: Bachelors degree in technical field or communications. • Can Equivalent Experience be Substituted for Educational Requirement (Yes/No): Yes • Weapons Certification Required (Yes/No): Not required for hire, but must be willing and capable of becoming certified. • Professional License or Certification Required (Yes/No) / Type: No • OCONUS TDY Required (Yes/No) / %: OCONUS travel not expected but could involve up to 10% OCONUS travel.** • CONUS TDY Required (Yes/No) / %: Yes, up to 10% CONUS travel, as required.** Must be a US Citizen and have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph from day one of employment and be crossover eligible ** Travel requirements/amount and duration are subject to the needs of the Customer and may be more or less than what is listed.
