Summit TRC is seeking a motivated and ambitious Systems Integration Engineer. The ideal candidate will perform integration tasks like installation, configuration, automation, test, and analysis of a variety of operating systems and other system or network components. Key Responsibilities:- Design, install, configure, and test Windows Operating Systems
- Integrate and test hardware and software components to improve system compatibility and performance
- Implement and manage virtualized solutions through tools like VMware or different hypervisors
- Develop scripts for autonomous deployment, monitoring, or configuration management using languages like Bash, Python, or Ansible
- Automate the creation, deployment, and configuration of virtual machines and containers
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network-related issues
- Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and cybersecurity engineers to design and integrate seamless solutions from the physical layer to the application layer
- Develop technical engineering documentation
Qualifications:- Must have a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Must be US Citizen possessing a secret clearance
- Strong proficiency with Windows systems
- Strong proficiency with other operating systems
- Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, vSphere, KVM, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors
- Proficiency in scripting and automation
- Solid understanding of networking concepts
- Experience with maintaining cybersecurity best practices
Nice to Have:- Experience utilizing Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
- Experience with SCCM or MECM
- Using containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes in a secure environment
