Systems Integrator - INE Senior SME for the COMSEC IT Services contract.
The Systems Integrator - INE Senior SME will serve as a senior technical authority supporting secure network integration, engineering, implementation, troubleshooting, and modernization activities within the Department of State COMSEC environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience- 9+ years of network engineering or similar experience
- Experience with NIST 800-53.
- Experience with security control lifecycles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
Certifications- Security+ certification.
- DoD 8570 certification or equivalent.
- CISSP or similar certification within 6 months of hire
EducationClearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with Type 1 encryption or COMSEC networks
- Experience with classified network integration
- Experience with secure network architecture and Zero Trust concepts
- Department of State or similar Federal national-security environment experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide senior-level technical expertise for INE systems and secure network environments.
- Design and integrate network technologies into Department operational environments.
- Perform complex network engineering, troubleshooting, and fault isolation.
- Support configuration, testing, implementation, deployment, and sustainment.
- Analyze system interoperability and integration requirements.
- Provide Tier 3 technical escalation support.
- Support secure architecture design and security-control implementation.
- Develop and review technical designs, engineering plans, test procedures, and implementation documentation.
- Support lifecycle management and modernization of secure networking capabilities.
- Coordinate technical activities with operations, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and Government stakeholders.
- Support technical root-cause analysis and corrective-action development.
- Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $170,000 - $210,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
