Full Job Description
Manages the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Directs the following activities: establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem. Manages the development and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced full-time Systems Integration & Test Engineer Associate Manager for the Assembly Integration Test and Launch (AITL) organization. This position will support a new IRAD program as one of the Test Managers.
Basic Qualifications
3BS in Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or related experience7
3Experience in Space Vehicle/Missile Integration and Test including Electrical, Mechanical, Ordnance, and Environmental.7
3Experience in Test Plan development and spacecraft/missile operations and test.7
3US Citizenship required, ability to obtain a Secret Clearance7
Desired Skills
3Experience Leading a Team through Testing7
3Experience with JIRA/Confluence, DOORS, Cameo, and Microsoft Suite 365.7
3Possess strong, demonstrated leadership and the ability to work with personnel from diverse backgrounds and disciplines both internal and external to the organization.7
3Experience in communicating and briefing program management.7
3Test Engineer and/or Certified Test Conductor7
3Willing to work overtime supporting off shifts and weekends in a 24/7 operations environment7
3Must have an Active Secret security clearance7
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. 3For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
