Responsibilities
- Responsible for theintegration, installation, testing, evaluation, documentation and verification of end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
- System integration is defined as the process of operationally connecting separate computer subsystems or software applications into a single larger system, allowing each solution to functionally work together. Installation processes are executed and refined while developing step by step procedures that can pass on to customers.
- Ensures system testing meets or exceeds system specifications.
- Develops standards, practices, and test procedures to verify system requirements and exercise all user interfaces. Verifies system documentation against the actual execution of the system and reports inconsistencies back to engineering for corrections.
- Participates in design reviews of components to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
- Evaluates the performance of the system, developing special test jigs as necessary to gather pertinent performance data, working closely with System Engineers to understand where performance improvements can be developed.
- Develops and performs overall system verification steps that are created over the life cycle to sell off the end-to-end system to the quality team and the customer.
- Creates and executes special procedures to verify and validate enhancement and defect fixes to the system.
- Follows and refines testing practices, policies, and procedures to best optimize the overall system verification process.
Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Customer-specific domain experience is required.
Target Salary Range$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
