Systems Integration Engineer to support daily operations and customer requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.
- Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.
- Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE.
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering.
- Must have experience in network or system administration.
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
- Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
- Experience setting up storage such as networkattached storage.
- Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
- Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with SELinux and FIPS
Security Clearance: - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
