Position Summary: Adacel is looking for a highly qualified Systems Integration Engineer to integrate our hardware infrastructure with 3rd party external data information systems and our software products. As a systems integration engineer, you will be planning, producing, testing, and deploying complex air traffic control systems. You will be taking part in receiving, and setting up euqeReporting to the manager of systems engineering, your role will involve working with clients, solutions architects, system engineers and software developers to ensure that our integrated overall system solutions satisfy client requirements and integrate seamlessly with their existing systems. Systems Integration Engineer are part of a larger System Engineering team whose responsibility is to ensure Adacel's product solutions can be installed and deployed in a repeatable, effective, easy to maintain manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that integration of Adacel products within clients' current infrastructure

and with customer provided systems is seamless.
• Collaborate with clients, solutions architects, system engineers, software developers', and other stakeholders to identify system requirements and ensure that our integrated products meet those requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and implement complex system integration solutions for Adacel' s Air Traffic Management operational products.
• Receive, unpack equipment for support of inhouse staging efforts followed by takedown and packaging of equipment for shipping to client.
• Support the development of installation and configuration strategies, methods,

processes, scripts, and tools that ensure the efficient deployment and integration of hardware system solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system integration and administration.
• Provide technical guidance and support to developers and other team members in relation to system integration.
• Provide technical training in factory and/or at customer site for system integration, administration, and maintenance.
• Use sound configuration management methods to ensure developed integration solutions are repeatable, effective, and easy to maintain.
• Investigate and fix technical problems with system integration.
• Keep up to date with emerging technology and market developments connected to system integration.
• Take part in quality control tasks (ISO 9001, CMMI) and security risk assessments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement those improvements.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of integration and administration experience in a LINUX environment
• Advanced knowledge of x86 virtualization solutions such as VMware, KVM, Proxmox
• Hands on experience installing and configuring complex systems infrastructure
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Advanced knowledge of hardware and software system integration methodologies and industry standards
• Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Advanced knowledge of computer hardware repair, troubleshooting, and configuration.
• Strong programming skills scripting languages such as Bash, Batch, Python, Perl etc.

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.

Desired
• Experience in with cyber security, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering.
• Integration/administration experience in a WINDOWS environment.
• Previous experience working with Agile/Lean development methodologies, particularly Scrum, and Kanban
• Previous experience working with Configuration Management tools.
• Working knowledge of AutoCad, SketchUp, and/or Visio software.
• Knowledge of domain-specific topics (ATM, ATC Simulation, speech recognition, etc.).
• Experience with sourcing components and communicating with suppliers.

Other Qualifications:
• Ability to adhere to Adacel's Drug Free Workplace Policy.
• Ability to pass an Adacel background check while employed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% annually.
• Must currently have or can obtain a U.S./Canadian passport.
• Must be able to pass an FAA background check.

Physical Requirements:
• Occasional lifting - up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movement.
