Description
System Integration & Testing Engineer (MLP/Senior)
System Integration and Testing Engineer is responsible for integrating various hardware and
software components into a complete system and validating that the system meets all functional
and performance requirements. This role plays a critical part in the verification and validation
(V&V) process by designing and executing test cases, identifying issues, and ensuring that the
product is robust, safe, and reliable before deployment.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead test planning & integration management, change management and SW release
management for vehicle development
• Integrate embedded software, ECUs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks (e.g.,
CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Manage the configuration and flashing of software into electronic control units (ECUs).
• Experience with test scope development, schedule, and deploy bench integration with
defined test requirements for simulator I/O, instrumentation, and automation solutions to
enable vehicle design, development, and validation sign off.
• Extensive experience with test environment, instrumentation strategies, perform automated
testing and functional integration of distributed features.
• Collaborate with SW, HW teams, suppliers, function owners to ensure streamlined
integration and test implementation, trouble shooting on test assets.
30
• Test bench integration across diverse systems, ECU's, control units, sensors, and actuators
into HIL system.
• Validates and troubleshoots simulator, automation solutions, vehicle systems within test
• environment for early detection and resolution/debug EE system components HW/SW
issues.
• Expertise with manual, automated test execution for SW, analysis of test results and
generation of test reports per sprint schedule
• Leads continuous process improvements to expand automated testing scope, improve
reliability and optimize execution.
• Testing experience using Hardware in the Loop equipment, software (e.g. dSpace, National
Instruments), embedded controller networks (CAN, LIN) and the use of ECU diagnostic
and network communication tools (e.g. CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy)
