Systems Engineering Technical Lead

The Opportunity:

As a Systems and Digital Engineeron our team,youllwork on thedevelopment of advanced systems across multiple defense domains.Youllsupportsystems engineering and digital engineering efforts, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities, to deliver innovative solutions that evolve with emerging technologies.

Youllwork with a team of talented engineers, shaping their growth while ensuring mission success. From concept through the product lifecycle,youllcreate and integrate interdisciplinary digital models, applying leading-edge principles and industry best practices. Yourexpertisewill help solve complex challenges, influence acquisition strategies, and deliver highly innovative solutions to our clients.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience performing systems engineering in the defense industry
  • Experience performing systems engineering analysis, requirements capture, architecture development, and system documentation for DoD or government systems
  • Experience with digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw and DOORS
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience developing test strategies, plans, and reports, and participating in test execution and analysis
  • Knowledge of MBSE concepts and SysML for requirements, specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture
  • Ability to work confidently with senior officials, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with engineering tools such as Dassault 3DS, IBM DOORS, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, and CAD tools
  • Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) techniques and Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) standards
  • Experience in DoD aerospace program acquisition offices
  • Experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design
  • Experience with airworthiness requirements and testing
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Masters degree in Engineering
  • INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) and SysML OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP)Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
