The Systems Engineer II provides engineering and technical support during development and review of architectures, specifications, and standards for NAVWAR programs in the RDT&E phase of acquisition.

Essential Job Functions:

May be required to act as a lead systems analyst.

Reviews acquisition engineering documentation for programs in RT&E.

Provides input Human Systems Integration requirements and plans.

Assists in development and update of Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) determinations in support of program milestone requirements.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

BS in an engineering discipline and a minimum of 3 years of systems engineering experience.

An active Secret clearance is required.

Professional technical experience should include one or more of the following: architecture development, application of Defense in Depth Information Assurance concept, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools, the NAVWAR Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.

Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) system documentation.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
