Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security+ (CompTIA Security+) certification is required.
• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in systems or cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and security compliance.
• Experience applying DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and RMF processes is necessary.
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy, and PKI.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud, identity, and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud environments for PTN R&D.
• Implement secure cloud architectures compliant with DoD cybersecurity standards.
• Engineer, monitor, and optimize network and system resources for the Development Network.
• Develop scalable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform or Bicep.
• Perform system hardening, patching, and secure configuration baselining.
• Support ATO/AMT efforts including evidence collection and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new capabilities into secure environments.
