If you bring deep engineering rigor, exceptional communication skills, and an authentic drive to solve high-stakes national security challenges, Team Nyla wants you leading the way with us!

The annual base salary range for this role is $216,000-$256,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills

  • Systems Engineering Leadership: Deep expertise leading system requirements analysis, CONOPS development, and full-lifecycle engineering management for large-scale production systems.
  • Architecture Frameworks (DoDAF/SOA): Proven proficiency managing system and derived requirements compliant with DoDAF, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and complex enterprise frameworks.
  • Systems Engineering Documentation: Hands-on experience developing System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Cross-Disciplinary Coordination & Verification: Experience leading Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), coordinating CCB action items, allocating real-time process/error budgets, and defining system verification and test plans.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 20+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 25+ years of hands-on technical software development and big data administration experience in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills

Deep nderstanding of Program Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Work Packages, and Integrated Master Plans (IMP).

Experience interacting directly with senior government stakeholders and program executives on critical technical trade-offs and issue resolutions.

Strong leadership, creative problem-solving capabilities, and a passion for bringing clarity to complex, multi-system environments.
