The Work
We are seeking a full-time System Engineer to support the full product lifecycle for Simulation and Training products. Our products are used to represent the world's most advanced combat systems, supporting a variety of mission areas and uses. In this role, you will define software requirements, verify requirements, and integrate and test software. The successful candidate will have experience with C++ code, Linux Operating Systems, System Modeling and troubleshooting system level issues.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a government security clearance - U.S. Citizenship required.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years professional engineering experience
• Experience with development of software requirements, requirement verification and working collaboratively with software engineers in the design, development, and test of software
• Experience with Model Based Engineering tools and methodologies like SysML
• Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of formal system test methods associated with software requirements verification, software system regression and data analysis
• Experience with issue investigation and defect correction
• The ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level - U.S. Citizenship required

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
