Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Automation Specialist with systems engineering and development experience to join our team. A minimum of 6 years of experience is preferred, plus a bachelor's or master's degree. You will design, develop, and implement automation solutions using various technologies and tools. You should have a strong understanding of technical infrastructure, software development life cycles, and IT operations. They will be responsible for collaborating with technical teams to implement automation solutions, providing technical guidance, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

  • Automation Strategy: Collaborate with technical teams to identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements; develop and implement automation strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance overall quality
  • Technical Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using various technologies and tools, such as scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell), automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform), monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), log and data management (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Stack (ELK), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with technical teams to integrate automation solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to services
  • Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to technical teams on automation best practices, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

  • Automation Frameworks: Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, SaltStack, or Puppet
  • CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Containerization: Knowledge: Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • IT Service Management: Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL. Familiarity with incidents, problems, and changes management system such as ServiceNow
