Job DescriptionYou will be the Systems Engineer Manager for the Engineering & Technology (E&T), Architecture, Design, System Integration & Test (ADIT) organization which is responsible for advancing F-35 system integration and test capabilities.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer Manager you will be responsible for leading one of the F-35 SI&T teams, guiding integration and test planning, and shaping workforce development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead execution for one of the SI&T teams, overseeing people, processes, and tools.
- Direct integration and test planning, execution, and status reporting for F-35 lab efforts.
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and champion process improvements.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, training, and competency development for the team.
- Define training needs, knowledge-continuity strategy, and workforce forecasting to ensure talent readiness.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field or nontechnical Bachelors with relevant engineering experience.
• Integration and test experience
• Experience with leading technical teams, mentoring junior engineers, and/or experience forming and growing a high performing multidiscipline team.
Desired skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus.
• Demonstrated organizational leadership experience.
• Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.
• Experience in developing technical talent and building pipelines to sustain organizational expertise.
• Experienced working with multiple LM Aero F-35 engineering teams (e.g. MS, VS, WPNs, Labs).
• Familiarity with Mission Systems and general avionics architectures and functionality.
• Systems Engineering development and integration experience with large complex systems.
• Experience in developing and executing technical plans, systems engineering development, and integration processes.
• Government flight test interaction and interface experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and/or Control Account Management (CAM).
• F35 Program clearances desired.

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
