Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Location: Montreal, QC

Job Code: 43568

Job Schedule: Day Shift

Compensation Range: Between $62,500 - $112,500 CDN annually

Essential Functions:
  • Design and equipment for the control of naval platforms
  • Develop Manufacturing Drawings for naval equipment
  • Prepare and perform test procedures for procured and designed equipment
  • Review customer documentation of ship systems including the propulsion, electrical, auxiliary, and damage control systems
  • Manage obsolescence to support in-service programs
  • Participate in internal and external meetings regarding interface between ship systems and the control system


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in engineering in the naval, aerospace or defence sector
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and team work skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Billingual (French and English)
  • Proficient English writing skills


Eligibility Criteria:
  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
