Job Description

ECS is seeking a Systems Engineer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 - Enterprise Operations Support - provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate enterprise systems architectures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement performance optimization strategies to improve system functionality.
  • Support modernization and sustainment initiatives for enterprise IT systems.
  • Develop technical architecture documentation to guide system implementation.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across network, hosting, and security domains.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and security requirements.
  • Support system lifecycle sustainment through proactive maintenance and updates.
  • Apply DoD architecture frameworks and RMF requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize STIG guidance and configuration management processes for secure solutions.


Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect-Enterprise Architect at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GDSA, GSEC
  • Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in enterprise systems engineering within DoD or Federal environments.
  • Experience designing and integrating systems architectures in DoDIN-connected environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure modernization and system integration strategies.
  • Knowledge of DoD architecture frameworks and RMF requirements.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation for IT systems.
