As a Systems Engineer III, you will handle advanced tasks in requirements engineering, systems integration, Verification & Validation (V&V), and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). with a high level of competence. You will lead system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management efforts, providing guidance to junior engineers. You will take on significant project responsibilities, demonstrating expertise in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management. Effective communication and collaboration are crucial as you drive project success and mentor less experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
- Handle advanced tasks in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience, practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Experience with lab test equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
- Ability to execute test procedures and document results
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with airborne RF signal collection and processing systems
- Working knowledge of networking and Linux systems
- Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, MATLAB, Python
- Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Exposure to baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
- Understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
- Active Top Secret (SCI) U.S. Security Clearance is preferred

- Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
