Description

Summary

Systems design, configuration and test of applications for In-Flight-Entertainment/Information systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure systems functions for aircraft
  • Develop interfaces and code to control embedded systems that interface to GUIs
  • Develop, test and deploy programs and applications
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing systems
  • Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses
  • Provide support for systems integration of new product development
  • Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives
  • Assists other areas to develop and maintain timeliness of projects
  • Support customers remotely and on site with issues found on aircraft

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical program; or Associate's degree with relevant experience.
  • 5+ years' experience.
  • Deep Knowledge of one or more C#, C++. Python
  • Deep knowledge of one or more OS - Linux, Android, iOS, Windows
  • Experience working on complex network-based software projects.
  • Working knowledge of Networking protocols HTTP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, UDP, L2, L3, switching and routing
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced multi-disciplined environment with quickly changing priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management or clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills


Preferred
  • Knowledge of C++/object-oriented programs, SQL, web application development, security and open-source technologies

Physical

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. Location

This is an on-site position requiring the employee to be in the office 5 days a week.

Travel

Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Work Environment

The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts or is exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation:
  • Base salary: $94,000 through $120,000, influenced by several factors including experience, skill set, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs.
  • The salary range specified is applicable to positions within Washington State and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions.
  • All employees are eligible for our highly competitive Quarterly Profit-Sharing Incentive program.
  • An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test.
