Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesAs a Systems Engineer II within Honeywell Next Generation Avionics (NGA), you will be part of our Integrated Systems Team, where you will leverage Systems Engineering and Software Integration skills in support of the development, integration and implementation of cutting-edge avionics solutions on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the advancement of cutting-edge avionics technologies that improve the efficiency, reliability, and safety of aircraft systems, helping to shape the future of aerospace innovation. You will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions.
Responsibilities- Support design, development, integration, and verification of avionics systems on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform
- Contribute to software-to-software systems integration efforts for the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck.
- Work collaboratively with product teams (i.e Flight Displays, FMS, etc) to ensure seamless integration of their modules
- Participate in system architecture and design activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software, hardware, safety, certification, and test
- Develop, analyze, and manage avionics system requirements
- Support system architecture definition, trade studies, and integration
- Participate in verification and validation activities
- Perform system impact analysis and support root cause investigations
- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during development and testing

QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- ~2 years of Systems Engineering or related experience, with experience in Integrated Software Systems.
- Working knowledge of requirements, integration, and verification
WE VALUE- Understanding of systems engineering and software-to-software systems integration principles and processes
- Familiarity with avionics development lifecycles is of value.
- Experience with requirements or MBSE modeling tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment
