What Impact You'll HaveNorthstrat, a GRVTY company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our Agile development team. The Systems Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and integration a new product that meets customer and technical requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation of complex systems in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:- System Design: Develop and document system architecture, components, and interfaces to meet project requirements.
- System Interfaces: Become an expert in the system's interfaces and identify key integration points
- Collaboration: Work closely with the agile product manager and software developers to ensure system designs align with customer and technical objectives.
- Agile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as iteration planning, iteration demos, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to team goals and objectives.
- Integration & Testing: Support the integration system services with external systems
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve system issues with comprehensive testing
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date system documentation in confluence, including interface definitions, system diagrams, and mission use cases
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and scalability through innovative approaches and tools.
What You Must Have- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or another STEM field
- 8-10 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
What Would be Nice to Have- Background in Mission Operations
- Experience with complex system integration activities

$140,000-$225,000 USD
