Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field + 8 years experience, or Master's + 6 years, or PhD + 4 years experience.
• Experience in Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) assessments.
• Proficient in software architecture and design principles.
• Skilled in developing and verifying RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements.
• Familiarity with systems engineering tools like DOORS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to think critically.
• Independent worker with team collaboration skills.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain electrical systems for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program.
• Conduct FMECA assessments to identify potential failures and impacts.
• Design and implement software architectures.
• Define RAM requirements to enhance system performance.
• Utilize systems engineering tools for project development and management.
• Prepare work products and presentations clearly communicating concepts and findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
