Job Title:
Systems Engineer - Controls & Software Development

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in controls and software development to support feature systems engineering from concept through production. This role focuses on systems architecture, feature development, and integration across hardware and software domains, with an emphasis on next-generation vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development of system-level features from early development through production, including upgrade and migration planning
  • Design and develop system architectures, including network, wiring, and power distribution topologies, schematics, and block diagrams
  • Define and allocate system features and functions to meet cost, quality, and performance targets
  • Develop feature specifications, implementation documentation, verification plans, and safety and cybersecurity assessments
  • Design systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering and software development tools (e.g., Python, C++) and requirements tools (e.g., Gherkin)
  • Develop, test, and deploy solutions for endpoint hardware and software while ensuring compatibility with existing systems
  • Analyze existing system designs to identify cost and quality improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop balanced engineering solutions
  • Analyze complex systems and implement innovative solutions
  • Lead technical trade-off discussions and communicate system-level decisions clearly
  • Apply data analytics to improve understanding of customer use cases
  • Support development of next-generation vehicle systems integrating software and systems engineering disciplines

Required Qualifications:
